She worked as legislative assistant for her dedicated predecessor Rosita C. Youngblood before taking on the responsibility of her current position, where she is dedicated to the well being of all her constituents of the 198th district of Pennsylvania.

Sew Face Masks Philadelphia is a Philadelphia Area (including South Jersey) grassroots community organization, established mid March 2020, directly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They provide handmade reusable face masks to those who request it. They support essential workers, health care providers, volunteers, community organizations, city agencies, non profits, supported living, educational facilities, faith based groups, and individuals and families in need of masks. They are also committed to providing up to date safety, wear and care, and education information related to the proper use of handmade face masks.
